Experience expert, minimally invasive coronary angioplasty & stent implant in Katy—designed to restore proper blood flow, relieve chest pain, and reduce your risk of heart attack.
Restore Blood Flow with Coronary Angioplasty & Stent Implantation
Coronary angioplasty is a minimally invasive procedure that opens blocked or narrowed coronary arteries to restore blood flow to your heart. When combined with a stent implant—a small mesh tube placed inside the artery—it helps keep the artery open and reduces the risk of future blockages or heart attacks.
At Advanced Cardiology in Katy, TX, and proudly serving patients across Sugar Land, Richmond, and the Greater Houston area, we provide expert coronary angioplasty and stenting using the latest imaging and catheter-based technology.
Led by board-certified cardiologist Dr. Adnan Khalid, our personalized approach ensures each patient receives timely care and thorough follow-up to protect long-term heart health. Whether you’re recovering from a heart attack or managing chronic coronary artery disease, this procedure can be a life-saving solution.

Why Cardiologists Recommend Coronary Angioplasty & Stent Implantation
Don’t let blocked arteries go untreated—timely coronary angioplasty with stent placement in Katy, Sugar Land, and Houston can restore blood flow and prevent serious heart events. Our cardiologist may recommend this procedure when medications or lifestyle changes are no longer enough to relieve your symptoms or reduce your risk of heart attack.
Here’s when angioplasty and stenting might be needed:
Chest Pain (Angina)
Why It Matters: Persistent or recurring chest pain may signal narrowed arteries limiting blood supply to your heart.
How Angioplasty Helps: Opens up the narrowed arteries and improves blood flow, helping relieve angina symptoms and reducing your heart attack risk.
Heart Attack (Myocardial Infarction)
Why It Matters: Immediate treatment is critical to minimize heart muscle damage and restore function.
How Angioplasty Helps: Rapidly opens the blocked artery responsible for the heart attack and places a stent to keep it open—often lifesaving.
Shortness of Breath or Fatigue
Why It Matters: These can be signs of insufficient oxygen reaching your heart muscle.
How Angioplasty Helps: Restores oxygen-rich blood flow, improving heart performance and relieving symptoms.
Abnormal Stress Test or Angiogram
Why It Matters: Imaging results showing narrowed or blocked arteries call for timely intervention.
How Angioplasty Helps: Directly targets problem areas identified in diagnostic tests and prevents disease progression.
Failed Response to Medications or Lifestyle Changes
Why It Matters: Some patients need more than medication to manage coronary artery disease.
How Angioplasty Helps: Provides a minimally invasive solution when conservative treatments don’t work.
If you’re experiencing chest pain or other symptoms of heart disease, don’t delay. Schedule a consultation in Katy today for expert evaluation and advanced treatment.
What Coronary Angioplasty & Stenting Can Accomplish
Coronary angioplasty with stent placement is not just a procedure—it’s a powerful step toward restoring heart health and preventing future cardiac events. Here’s what it can help achieve:
Restore Blood Flow to the Heart
By opening narrowed or blocked coronary arteries, angioplasty improves circulation, delivers oxygen-rich blood to the heart muscle, and reduces the risk of heart damage.
Relieve Angina and Chest Discomfort
Stenting reduces or eliminates chest pain caused by restricted blood flow, helping patients return to daily activities with less discomfort.
Prevent Future Heart Attacks
By stabilizing plaque buildup and keeping arteries open, stents lower the risk of future blockages that can lead to heart attacks.
Improve Heart Function and Energy Levels
When the heart receives proper blood flow, it functions more efficiently—helping reduce fatigue, shortness of breath, and overall cardiac strain.
Avoid Open-Heart Surgery
As a minimally invasive alternative to bypass surgery, angioplasty offers faster recovery, fewer complications, and shorter hospital stays.
Support Recovery After a Heart Attack
If performed shortly after a heart attack, angioplasty limits muscle damage and improves long-term survival outcomes.
At Advanced Cardiology in Katy, we use this advanced procedure to help patients across Sugar Land, Richmond, and the Greater Houston area regain control of their heart health.
